Speaking of gifts, I think it’s so much easier to spend a lot of money on presents because then you have a much wider variety of choices. If you don’t worry about money then you’re pretty much covered. You can buy anything!
But what about the rest of us? What is more difficult is to pick out something for little or not too much money that is still individual and special. Or better still to make something from scratch.
Now that is a little tricky but does require more thought and frankly I would be very happy if somebody made something for me. Better still, if the person had someone else (like a professional seamstress or jeweller) make it on their behalf. It doesn’t have to be grand or couture…exactly – just a perfect fit, colour and style. Not asking for too much. People should not be made to feel pressured around this time of year.
That said, any little old thing will not do. Unless of course that little old thing is a vintage birkin bag or heirloom piece. Kidding (sort of). Like I said…it’s easier to spend $$$
